BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL

There are a few ways you can provide feedback to local Council.

The one thing to keep in mind for all of these communication options is to keep it level-headed, clear and consistent.

Emotion is wonderful for causes like this, however too much when communicating with bodies like the BCC can be detrimental to our cause, so remember to keep it civil!

Lord Mayor of Brisbane

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner has proudly served the Brisbane community for more than 15 years as councillor, committee chair of multiple portfolios and Deputy Mayor for eight years.

As Lord Mayor, Adrian’s goal is simple – to ensure the Brisbane of tomorrow is even better than the Brisbane of today.

He is focused on building the infrastructure Brisbane needs while protecting our unique lifestyle and expanding Brisbane’s green space:

  • turn-up-and-go Brisbane Metro

  • free off-peak travel for seniors

  • half price rates for first-home buyers

  • Australia’s first double decker CityCat

  • lower fees for small business

  • Victoria Park Vision

  • Better Suburbs Initiative

Adrian has a life-long love for Brisbane, being born here and growing up in a family with a small local business. Adrian lives in Carindale with his wife, Nina and four children – Octavia, Petra, Wolfgang and Monash.

Brisbane City Council is the largest local Council in Australia. It covers 1338.1 square kilometres, spanning the Brisbane River in a radius of up to 25 kilometres from the Central Business District.

If you are writing to the Lord Mayor, the correct salutation is:

My dear Lord Mayor
